Default value of old scope

I was wondering if any of you out there would have any history and or value of an old scope that I have in my possession. It appears by its markings to be a Winchester -A5 patended feb 9,1909. It is 15 3/4" long and has a 7/8" tube.It also has dovetailed rings with the windage and elevation turrets on them. The rings are patented nov 5 1907. The crosshairs are perfect and the clarity is very good considering its age.Blueing is very good with some very minor pitting and wear on the eyepiece. The turret adjustments on the rings work smoothly. I was once told that these scopes were used by snipers in the first world war but if thats the case this particular one must not have seen much action. Any information is appreciated. thank you.

Not really as this scope is the same diameter for its entire length, it does not get larger at either the eyepiece or objective? end. I guess I will take a picture and see if my wife can post it later as I am technologically challenged.

Yup thats pretty close, the only difference is the bases are not quite the same (this one is an A5?). I guess that it was well worth the $5 I paid for it at a garage sale a couple years back! Now I have to decide whether to put it back in storage or sell it and buy one that I will use.thank you.

No sorry, I missed that. The one I posted is a B5. I have some time before the flight leaves so I'll do a little more research for ya. Heck of a buy if you ask me!!!
