Default Portable camp shower

Let's see your portable camp showers. I built one about 25 years ago and it disappeared somewhere along the line. So, for this year's hunting season I thought I would build another. Made some improvements over the old one. Built in battery, no hooking up to a quad or truck or carrying an old car battery around. And LED lights for those late night showers after getting the game skinned and hung. A small solar panel keeps the battery charged up. A 20L bucket gives a good shower. Worked great. It breaks down for packing. A canner for heating water on the fire and you are good to go.

Looks slick! Cant see, but is there a valve or choke on the line to limit the amount of water coming through?

No flow control required. The little pump is just right. There's a switch on the pipe to shut off the pump between shampoo etc. Saves water you know. We had the Honda water pump at the river and a 100 ft garden hose to get water to camp. All the water you could have wanted. The copper pipe attached to the green hose drops into the canner of warm water.

add a 2' copper coil in the line and have someone hit it with a tiger torch for a hot shower

I have one of the Zodi propane showers with dual burners. The pump uses 4 D batteries which last for about 30 showers or so. Uses about half of a 5 gallon bucket for a decent shower. A better pump set up running off a bigger battery wouldn't be a bad thing. It does work well though and it's nice to have hot showers everyday when dry camping.

We use a Cabelas portable shower shelter with a 5gallon pail and small submersible pump with a hose attached to kitchen sink spray nozzle. Heat water up on fire pit in stainless steel pails.

Turn up heat on diesel furnace in the wall tent at lunch just to be warm from the 10 yard dash for. Shower and dry off and get dressed.
