2min Automotive Service Questionaire
I'm conducting a quick survey for work purposes, just wanted to post it here to open up my sample size.
If you don't mind taking 2 min to complete the 10 questions it.. No personal info required.
It would help me greatly!
Thanks

question 6 and 7 I did not answer because i refuse to take my vehicle back to a car dealership to get serviced. There's much better priced shops that go out of their way for customer service than the arrogant dealerships

Thanks for the help.
For those curious as to the angle I'm working, I don't work at a dealership but am in the automotive industry. Trying to find some stats for peoples preferences for servicing and how how much convenience plays in there decision.
With the results I'll be trying to work out how to make it easier for people to service their vehicles.

I don't have a quick lube option within an hour so go to the local shop in town. They don't book appointments per say, just Wednesday morning, or Wednesday afternoon type of time slots. I often drop it the night before, they store it inside, then service first thing the next morning. Full inspection (with report), lubed, washed, all fluid levels checked and topped, windows washed, etc etc for right around $100. Can`t complain about that even tho a defined time slot would be super nice to have.

I do all my own services. My cost to service my 6.7 is $172.00 a crack for oil, oil filter and fuel filters plus 15-20 minutes of my time. I also get to do a check around to see if anything else needs tending. Every 5000 klm which is about every 2 months right now.

I do all my own maintenance and repairs but if I were to ake my car somewhere for an oil change, I don't need or want them to inspect anything. Usually the lubie has about as much mechanical aptitude as the guy working at Parts Source. I'll pass.
I completed the survey though. Good luck in whatever you are trying to do.
