heres another vote for a homemade trail cams.
I made three so far and they are all film.
The pros of building your own, are that if they fail, you know how to fix them.
I also would go with digital because the price of digital cameras came down so much from when i started building 3 years ago, plus if you don't have to wait if the roll isnt full.
that being said, film cameras are really easy on batteries so you can leave the setup out in the cold for long periods of time, plus you can get 36 pictures per roll of film. I got my cameras for $8 each at pawn shops.
I dont think this thread will get lots of hits because the subject is dealt with so much.
To sum it up, if your hands on-build it yourself. If your not, buy a treebark.
If you need any help, let us know.
