I would throw some 10 lb power pro super slick on there and then tie on a 4-6 ft leader made of 8 lb fluorocarbon line. If you want lighter then 8 lb instead of downsizing I would get a spool of 8 lb fluorocarbon tippet and use that instead(only slightly larger then 4 lb line but stronger).
