I scooped up some cheap used MEC presses and my buddy and I setup an assembly line in the garage. We can throw the game up on the TV and BS but still turn out better than 100 an hour. We’ve had some luck finding people with random boxes of stuff they don’t use anymore so component costs haven’t been too bad but it’s pretty close. If we have to pay retail going forward it might get too expensive, I’ll keep loading 28ga skeet loads for sure though.

Our initial plan was to practice a bit on target loads then start doing our steel waterfowl stuff however finding reliable data has turned out to be a chore. BPI has changed their wads recently and said for the first couple years that old data was interchangeable but they’ve pulled back on that now. Then on top of that Alliant has pulled all of their steel recipes from their online guide although the 2019. Starting to seem like more work than I was hoping it would be.
