Agree. I guess it depends on what the previous poster meant by "atrocious". A bad fish day is often not the guide's fault. But if the guide was ignorant, etc., different matter.
I hired a guide/instructor last year, and while we didn't get into a ton of fish, I had a great time, learned a lot, and felt like I got value for my money.
