I bought a Weatherby Lazermark in 270 weatherby this winter when I sold my motorcycle. I was agonizing what rifle to buy, and my wife told me to shut up and buy the pretty one. lol
So i did. I had a member here build a custom saddle scabbard for it so I can pack it sheep hunting and not beat it up against the saddle.
I use all my guns, and even though it has beautiful wood, it is still going to get used.
I will alway keep my custom 358 Norma mag, but it will only go out the odd time, the weatherby will get the call to do most of the hunting.
I was looking for a caliber that was not to big, but not to small, and this one fit the bill nicely.
I have found a load with 140gr Bergers and a load with 130gr BT that both shoot well under a inch, so I will not complain about that.
