Rather than old clothes blue jeans etc try burlap sacks for your filling You can buy extra latge burlap sacks in peevy mart at this time of year and I believe they were $few dollars each and very large . We used to stuff the burlap sacks into cardboard boxes to use as arrow backstops and they were extremely effective in stopping arrows.
