might be a bit much to say fusions are the newer partition but they lean more than way than the frangible bullet way...tough bullet, more delayed expansion qualities many would want for larger tougher game and deeper penetration, from my experience with them in .270 and .243, very effective, everything died no sweat and i prefer more frangible bullets fyi, i think after 300 yards they don't expand enough really, 0-300 typical hunting situations you cannot go wrong...and they are typically accurate af!
