180 Fusions will do just fine if you do your part.I shot a bull elk with 30-06 165gr Fusion a few years ago,head on chest shot at the neck crease/centered between front legs from 75-80yards(?)......DRT,tipped over and never took another step.
In fairness though.....pretty much any bullet from a 30-06 is gonna produce the same result with that shot placement,its likely my favourite/preferred shot placement on deer,it's simply devastating to internals and they just tip over on the spot and barely flinch in my experiences.
