The rifle offered here is a great deal, but if you don't decide on that. I would suggest going with a rifle with a better hunting profile. Lugging around a heavy barrel target/tactical rifle for hunting can get old fast.
Check out Savage, Weatherby, Remington, Browning, Tikka etc. Many of these brands have sporting rifles that would work as a decent range rifle too.
