Wrap the stock in paper towels saturated with gunwash thinner. Place the whole thing on a plastic sheet or garbage bag. Cover with a garbage bag. Wait 20 minutes. Most of the alkyd enamel (Krylon) will blister and peel right off. Re-wet remaining painted areas and remove with a nylon brush.
