I've been searching the last few winters, and as far as I can tell, there are no more derbies in this province. Pine Lake used to, Newell used to, Badger used to......all no longer run. There's some kind of a thing up at Wab on the Family Day weekend, but I'm not sure it's really a derby, per se.
It's really incredible to me, because in Manitoba, there's one nearly every weekend of hardwater season someplace in the province. In March? It's nuts...multiple derbies every weekend.
