Once enough EV's are owned in Canuckistan, provincial and federal governments will add a Road and Highway Levy to every utility bill. You will be paying the levy whether you drive an EV or an ICE. You will be paying the levy to light your house and cook your food.
It will be called a Levy so they can then add the GST on top. Since it is against the law to tax a tax, they will call it a levy instead. Words are magic.
