I haven't watched a lot of post game coverage, but from what I've seen it seems as though most of the Oilers as well as the Oilers organization are taking the high road on this and showing a lot of integrity (the fans - maybe not so much). This experience will prove to be a huge learning for them, and should result in an exponential lift in (to borrow from Dungeons and Dragons language) "experience points". I look forward to seeing how this team does next year and the year after. I predict an Oilers / Leafs cup final in 2019!

And from my POV from the couch, I'm not sure Eberle has what it takes. He stood out when the Oilers were mediocre at best scoring the odd fancy goal early in the season, but most of the team has now evolved past him. I say trade him while his commodity is still somewhat high and get one more big d-man. Look what Pronger did for the team...
