That's generally true. I paid almost $5.00 a piece for a half dozen of these grasshopper flies I bought at Bass Pro...and lost 3 nice fish because of it.[emoji35] I can easily make better flies with less expensive equipment. The most expensive vise is nice to have yes, but it isn't necessary to make good flies. Attention to detail is necessary.
