Exactly. This is social studies. It’s topics of today. Parents should help their children understand complicated subjects and how to look at things with a balanced view and research subjects. Then when that student presents it to other students they see the light as well. Just because they need to do an essay on the subject doesn’t mean they have to do an essay in support of the subject. This is where parents need to help.
Maybe have them do an essay on all 3 😀.
