Google and a buddy who says he's a "mechanic" isn't the best thing with newer vehicles and the new electronics and engine controls. Take it to someone competent "technician" or the dealer. Don't get sucked in on unesesary repairs that won't fix the underlying problem. I've been in the trade long enough and seen enough to know that a competent tech can figure out and diagnose these types of things. A backyard mechanic was absolete around 96 when obd2 came into effect for lots of electrical work. Hell I remember working on Bosch k and j jetronic injection systems and I'm only 34. Point is to take it and have it diagnosed properly!
