Absolutely it’s his/her spot for that sit! I’ll keep trucking and burn some boot leather. I prefer to hunt on the ground, just going to try something new this year with the tree stand.
I don’t own any part of the land nor do I have any say. It’s just curtesy to not sit in someone’s stand, using their things without first asking permission.
