Ive been playing with the 338 RCM, very neat cartridge. Using starting load data its a mild bush thumper, when fully loaded it wakes up. The factory ammo is a big step up in power. Its neat having a trim 20 inch iron sighted rifle that slings big 338 diameter pills. Its trajectory is not bad, making 200 yard shots on gongs a breeze. My favorite bush rifle. Now they have released the 6.5 PRC, also based off of the 300 RCM case. Id be interested in one in a lightweight back country rifle.
