Thanks, no he's still getting used to the birds. I probably screwed up because I had him on pheasants since he was a pup. So he got really good at tracking with birds that wouldn't hold very well that time of year. I was out of town for a bit so I left him with a pro trainer for a couple of weeks. I have been working on getting him as bird crazy as possible while doing whoa yard work. I'm not concerned about it yet but next year we have to step up our game. I can't wait to see where he's at by the end of the year.

It will be hard but here is the biggest tip I can give you. Your gonna be mad.
DO NOT SHOOT A BIRD YOUR DOG BREAKS POINT ON. Have fun this year and relax. but if he breaks point whoa him up and tell him leave it. that is the greatest thing you can do for him this year. I board and train as well and if you are interested next spring let me know.
