Worst episode I have had was my own fault. I purchased a used browning bbr, and a couple of weeks later picked up a scope and hardware. Took them home and discovered the bases were incorrect, so headed back in to the shop with the whole kit and caboodle to see if I could get some help with it. Guy at the counter takes it back in after I explain the the bases are definitely the wrong ones as they are not even close to level when installed, he reinstalls them and then cranks the rear base screws down until it has jammed into the bolt and locked it up tight. He hands it back and tells me there is something completely wrong with my gun and he can't help me. I walk out and head to another store (small personal place)where we check the bases and discover that the ones I had been sold were for an A bolt not a BBR, new set of bases and all was well. Lesson learned sometimes worth paying a little more to deal with knowledgeable people.
