People I know and myself must be lucky, in over 50 years I have never needed to send in.a Leupold scope for warranty a can't recall any hunting and competitive friends who have either. Read about lots who have , though .
On the flip side I have seen a fair number of Vortex warranty issues, mostly on the lower end models .
