Check out their websites and social media information like Facebook. See their work online...ideally closeups...no closeups....means you are missing the fine work. See if they are doing it full time or part time....and what their warranty is as well as what quality control they have...... some builders prefer short barrelled rifles as short is typically less flex and better accuracy. Never heard of a 300 cody....you might have to buy a reamer. Talk directly to the builder and ask how many returns they had for poor accuracy or problems. Hopefully you will get an honest answer.
