Default Is this another anti-firearms "shot" from the Federal Government?

If this isn't acceptable on this forum, please let me know. I think it is outdoors, guns, hunting and Alberta related, but I'm never sure what's okay and what isn't.

Canada's most senior federal public servant says he is worried someone is going to be shot after Senator Tkachuk's comment that the yellow vest convoy should roll over the Liberals. Tkachuk, of course, was speaking figuratively. (https://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/tas...shot-1.5028503)

Help me out. Does this reaction from eastern government officials to western alienation appear to be another sign of their total lack of appreciation for the reality of Alberta and Saskatchewan oil and gas industries, hunting, firearms, and so on?

If I say that I hope the Liberals are "wiped out" in the next election, partly because of their attitude towards guns and hunting, does that mean I am advocating violence? It's not a coincidence that Senator Tkachuk is from Saskatchewan.

Rant over.
