I remember when I first got into Fly Fishing about 15-20 years ago, all I would use was RIO. But I agree, lately, their product has really slipped in quality. The last few lines I bought from RIO were starting to split, or bunch up, or just fall apart completely within a few months of typical use. I have since switched to Scientific Anglers and I don't think I'll go back to RIO anytime soon.
