I picked up the striker 4 portable kit at the beginning of last winter and really enjoy using it. Works great for ice fishing, it has flasher mode but I never use it I prefer the traditional mode with A scope on the side of the of the screen. I also mounted it on my inflatable pontoon boat quite easily for open water fishing.. I would recommend it
