I have tied flies on bobby pins. They actually turn out great. If you want something that really stands out you can make them with bright colors. I would be happy to help you out if your looking for someone to tie them. Let me know how big of a fly. I can do something really small or something huge. Color is totally up to you. Even if you want a "special" fly in particular I can do that too.
I'm in Calgary, so shipping wouldn't be that much. I'm sure we can even find someone here on the forum who will be traveling between Calgary and Edmonton long before September.
