Ah yes, that would explain mine as well.
I did get my progressives there, and after taking a while to get used to them, they have been okay.
The biggest issue I have is when I'm in the woods, walking on uneven ground. I have to tilt my head low enough to be able to see where I'm putting my feet(using the distance part of my glasses), but then I'm not watching further down the trail; I look like an idiot that just watches his feet while he walks.
I compromise by wearing my contacts set up for monovision, so I can still sort of use my phone etc. (tying a lure is dicey) but I can manage on the trail. It does affect my ability to spot game at a distance, though, which is a pain.
