Cougar is a light coloured meat, mild tasting, tastes and looks much like an over cooked pork roast. It is quite dry and you unfortunately need to cook it to 170f.
I think it would make a good meal in a slow cooker...pulled cat??
It is surprisingly good. Sauce helps with the dryness.
