I followed your link and got tangled up with a whole bunch of your pictures. Good stuff. Your enthusiasm for the North is obvious, and brings back memories of my own time there. I cleared the access for the piece of road from Arctic Red to Inuvik in ‘70/‘71 and spent the next eight years, the happiest of my life, between Great Slave Lake and the Arctic islands. People now spoken of as part of history - Slim and Agnes Semmler, Father Adam, Eddie Gruben, Bobby Porrit, Shirley and Sharon Firth, Glen & Trish Warner and countless others were simply day to day friends and acquaintances.
Enjoy every moment of it; if ever you leave, you’ll miss it for the rest of your life. I sure do. I always will. I never should have left.
