Just don't fall for their stupid "turkey special for $.86/lb". Those are pathetic small utility grade birds. And you need to spend a minimum of $50 and you can only get one per visit. And the largest one they had was only 15lbs.

Went to Safeway on Manning today and asked the butcher and he had a few in the back and brought me one......Said the trick to have a very moist turkey is to place the breast down to keep the meat in the liquids and place half a lb. of butter in the cavity .
Then said , no need to baste it while roasting.
