I got it ! It is a Remington.
The rifling is super sharp, looks like a new barrel inside.
Who ever sporterized the stock put varnish all over the barrel and action.
Will acetone take it off without ruining the blueing?
It still has the original cleaning rope in the stock, pretty much the first bore snake.
Action is tight and man does it shoot. pretty cool gun for being almost 100.
