To be totally honest, I have shot everything from woodchucks to moose sincecaround 1966 with all kinds of cup and core bullets in calibers from all the manufacturers and monolithic bullets from Batnes and several custom made bullets.
If the cartridge/rifle set up is correct and within the parameters of its intended velocity and the shooter's skills are where they should be, danged near all will kill well with a couple of exceptions .
There is no perfect bullet however .
