Vortex works fine. Ive been using their viper pst, viper hs, diamondback scopes, viper hd binos, diamondback binos, monoculars, and rangefinders for years and have only ever had one issue with a new rangefinder. I used their warranty and sent it to ontario and had a replacement unit in my hands 4 days later. These naysayers are just feeling remorse about spending so much more on the other brands for similar quality. Buy what you want and what fits in your budget.
