I'm a big fan of the Ol' .257 Weatherby Mag / 120 gr SPBT, I dropped a lot of meat with that rig but this year I was truly enlightened by the 45-70. I never owned one before and now I cant believe I waited this long. Although it is defiantly not a long range precision tack driver, inside of 200 yards (and that's stretching it) I was quite impressed with the knock down power of the caliber. I am going to have to settle on those two. I cant do just one.
