Although I've been killing stuff for as long as I can remember with my 300 weatherby and 180 grain bullets, I would have to say that on the off chance I was going to be in tight with big coastal bears and other man killing "stuff", I would be inclined to have a 375 h&h as my "one" gun. Then I would never ever be thinking I was under gunned for anything here. From point blank to 400+ as a hand loader i'd have it covered :-)
