Teck has been forced to come up with a water management plan. You can imagine the huge financial burden this brings in order to try and mitigate the variety of detrimental impacts caused by coal mining.

Get educated.

Are the companies that will operate in Alberta bringing this level of management? Are they making these long term investments. Will the facilities still be operating for decades after they leave the ridge tops?

Can the technology put in place even effectively control the levels of pollutants that will be released into the watershed?
