Gelcoat shelf life
Question? Is the expiry date on gelcoat critical or is there more wiggle room on the product than is stipulated? The recipe I got is to use a West system 406 hardner and mix in some Colloidal Silica to thicken the gelcoat before patching or filling cracks. Does this sound Ok?
