I look for that new once fired appearance with the new looking discarded empty boxes. Examining them to see if the necks have been trimmed and chamfered will tell if they've been reloaded. Picked up 80 once fired federal and 100+ Privi .308 brass last weekend. I love 308 brass, form it into 243, 260, 7-08 and of course 308. Have even used it to make 6.5 creedmoor cases in a pinch.
