I suspect that he is a bit like me, I get oodles of junk mail, everything from Aeroplan to Costco to AMA to whatever....lots of goes straight to trash. With the volume of paperwork he deals with and raising a house full of kids, pretty sure he missed his expiration letter...whatever, it's an expensive lesson.
