At this rate if oil ever hits $70 a barrel we will be paying $3 litre for regular gas. Unfortunately ,regardless of what the oil companies would like to have us believe, gas prices are based on whatever they think they can get away with , not on the price of oil.
You can bet we will pay $1.30 l again and probably this year but it will do nothing to bring back the economy. It will just bleed the average consumer a little more , that’s all.
