Default Big CWD numbers from the 2017 season.

Just noticed this post on another site. Thought I would share the information. This was posted on Let's Go Outdoors Alberta on facebook. I am amazed at how many deer tested positive.

And I quote:

"Margo Pybus with Alberta CWD team tells delegates attending the Alberta Fish and Game Association conference the number of infected deer with CWD continues to grow. A total of 869 positive cases are now confirmed in Alberta. Most are being found in Mule Deer (754) while the number in Whitetail Deer is also on the rise with 398 cases."

I question the statement because it says 754 mule deer and 398 whitetail were found to be infected. Add those two numbers and you get 1152. Not 869. Anyways, the numbers are very concerning.
