My wife has one on her Christmas list this year. She want s the 8 quart model. That seems stupid large for just the 3 of us. I am looking at the 6 quart. Any thoughts about going 8 or 6? I can't see us doing turkeys or anything extra large, just smaller roasts, ribs, chilis, soups etc.
And to those who have had one for a while, do you still use it, or has the novelty worn off?
