We were at Gull yesterday.
I have fished hard water for many years, under all temperature extremes. Yesterday was the first time I heard the ice making that much noise. I mean the noise was not letting up... all day long. Some sounded like typical thermal cracking... just like thunder but most of the time it sounded like something different. Weird for sure.
