I built a small house for mine. It has a tall door in the front, a peaked roof that’s shingled. There’s about 4 to 6 inch clearance around it and it sits on slotted boards for ventilation. Above the smoker; the front of the peak is screened to let the smoke out. It sits on a frame about 40” high, on stilts and I put a small work table on the front that hinges down when not in use. When using the table; I just flip it up and put a stick under to hold it up. The door is on a piano hinge and stays closed with both a hook & eye and a small magnetic catch. My smoker sits in it year-round, just outside of my garage man-door.
