This is wide open prairie grassland down here , very little brush but I was fortunate to get permission on a piece of ground that has lots of grass left over , so some cover . Also picked up my first of the year there today , beautiful big male . Set out 41 snares at 2 baits they we prebaited a week ago, you guessed it nothing but deer hair left . Rebaited and now waiting for the 2 day check .. that is if I can keep myself from going tomorrow  Had one minor disaster today , my bait scent jar came partially open in the back of the truck .
