"right around" can mean a lot of different things. Many people claim weights by what it feels like, not what a scale shows. I don't want to argue, but there is no way a m7 with a 25.5" barrel (and that much shank) is 5lbs.

it's over for sure, i think it was 5 pound 3 or 4 ounces i don't really remember to be honest.
either way at this point i'm not pulling stuff off to weigh it
