Sheep/Mountain Guns
I am in the process of building a mountain gun on a Remington Model 7. It is chambered in 300 SAUM (I know its big for sheep, but I like 300's) Just looking for any idea's or suggestions for people who have been there, done that.
So Far I am going with: Wildcat stock, Talley Lightweights, Skeletonizing Bolt, bolt handle and knob. Gre-Tan Lightweight firing pin assembly and bolt shroud. Also will most likely be looking at slabbing the action and going with a Timney trigger.
